The Journey

Our Process

We are often asked what the process looks like from initial enquiry to new windows. We understand that not knowing can be daunting. Having anyone carrying out works to your home can be disruptive which is why we believe in keeping the process simple and ensure you are happy with how the process will work. For example; you choose how we communicate, either via email, whatsapp or phone calls.

Following Up On Your Enquiry

After receiving your enquiry we will be in contact within 24 hours to establish the following

01
Understanding your relationship to the building (i.e. architect, home owner, maintenance manager).
02
Your needs and vision for your windows throughout the property.
03
The quantities and locations of the windows you require.
04
Is the property a listed building or located in a conservation area.
Survey And Quotation

Site visit & Quotation

Once this information has been answered we will schedule a convenient time to meet with you and survey the windows.

A written quotation will then be sent listing all that was discussed on site and the proposed options and costs involved.

Upon acceptance of quotation a deposit payment is needed to retain services, confirm diary dates and resource to start the window works.

How We Work - Next Steps

A workshop visit is booked for you to visit and experience first hand how your windows will be worked upon and is also a great opportunity to meet the whole team who will be working on your project.

In the background we will be busy working on method statements and drawings and meeting with your local conservation officers for the applications needed for granted approval of works needed for windows.

Once the windows application has been granted we then begin the next process of manufacturing the new double glazed units or window frame restoration.

After 3 months from installation the team revisits each window to carry out a final inspection/clean. We recommend booking our yearly inspection/clean service which includes greasing hinges and any operating parts, looking for any defaults in the glazing and rectifying to ensure longevity and ease of use.
