We offer two ranges of heritage glazing; our Flotara range of glass, which is a clear modern float glass most commonly found in late 19th century lead windows.
Our Heritane range of glass introduces uneven glass texture, which is more commonly found in 18 th and early 19th century leaded windows.
Both options have been refined over 30 years of trading history to produce the most authentic leaded double glazed unit for period and listed homes across the United Kingdom.
When restoration is no longer viable, we create bespoke heritage double glazed windows that faithfully replicate the original design. Crafted to complement period and listed properties, our replacement windows combine traditional appearance with modern thermal performance.
Many original windows can be carefully restored rather than replaced. From repairing timber and leadwork to draught-proofing and upgrading performance, our refurbishment service preserves the character of your windows while extending their lifespan for years to come.
From cracked leaded lights and damaged glazing to decayed timber and failing putty, our skilled craftsmen carry out sympathetic repairs that protect the integrity of your windows while maintaining their original appearance.
We specialise in gaining planning permission for any proposed window work for your listed property. Most common issues with single-glazed windows are condensation, weak and ageing lead work, draughty openings, missing or broken window furniture and most commonly overpainted opening casements, which result in poor user experience.
